About Amy Gentry
Amy Gentry is the internationally bestselling author of Good as Gone, Last Woman Standing, and Bad Habits, as well as a book of music criticism for the 33 1/3 series, Tori Amos’s Boys for Pele. Her book reviews and essays have appeared in the Chicago Tribune, Paris Review, Los Angeles Review of Books, Texas Monthly, Salon, Austin Chronicle, and many other outlets. Her interests include cake decorating, horror films, and reading Anita Brookner. She holds a PhD in English from the University of Chicago and lives in Austin, Texas, where she teaches writing workshops.
